Building an app alone is fine until someone else needs to see it, review it, or help change it. Collaborators let you bring another Breezify user onto a specific app without handing over your account or sharing a password.
Inviting people is available on the Plus plan and above. Plus can have up to 5 collaborators on an app at a time, Pro up to 15, and Max up to 50. You invite an existing Breezify user, and the app then shows up in their dashboard under Shared with me, separate from anything they built themselves.
Each person gets one of two roles. An editor can work on the app the way you do: refine it, deploy it, duplicate it, and push it to GitHub. A viewer can open the app and look at it, including its history, but cannot change anything. The restriction is enforced on the server and in the database rules, so a viewer is read-only no matter how they try to reach the app. As the owner, you can change someone's role or remove them at any time, and a collaborator can always leave on their own.
The billing question tends to come up next, and the answer is simple: there is no pooled team balance. When an editor refines your shared app, that generation uses their own credits and their own plan's model access, not yours. Your credits are only ever spent when you generate. That keeps a shared app from quietly draining the owner's balance, and it means a collaborator on a lower plan simply sees the models their own plan allows.
Some things stay with the owner by design. Your app's secrets and connector credentials are private to you, and collaborators never see them, even editors. If you ever want to hand an app over entirely, you can transfer ownership to someone you have already invited. That person becomes the owner, and you stay on the app as a collaborator.
A sensible way to start is to invite a teammate as a viewer so they can look around without being able to change anything, and promote them to editor once they are ready to make changes or join the comment threads. You can do it all from the app's Team settings.
